Taking inspiration from the surrounding mountain range, The Green Room re-envisioned the landscape of this mid-century ranch in Paradise Valley into a low-water, low-maintenance sanctuary for the family.

Veils of plantings create privacy for outdoor living areas while maintaining views. Salvaged native trees are layered with specimen creosote, barrel cacti, and yuccas to establish an immersive and seasonal Sonoran landscape that is restrained, curated, contemplative, and artful.

Hardscape spines of concrete delineate areas of transition and highlight the architecture while offering moments of pause, places for rest, and observation.

Troughs contain organic vegetables and a citrus grove. Custom water features mark key moments. A play area and putting green form active spaces.
