Music Bungalow
A textural and tranquil “Old-Arizona” atmosphere
Landscapes > Music Bungalow
In a chic Moroccan-themed neighborhood that was formerly the Kellogg family summer estate and later a mid-century resort, The Green Room worked closely with an interior designer to maximize the usable space of a modest property and create a highly textural and tranquil indoor-outdoor living experience.
The immersive garden consists of vignettes that evoke an old-Arizona atmosphere to pay homage to the historic property.
An open air zaguan with a fireplace brings to life an unused niche. Dense plant groupings and highly textural tonal materials create depth.
Belgian bricks and hand carved stone water troughs provide a sense of timelessness and augment a theme of fire and water. Fruitless olive trees provide a continuous canopy of shade.
