The Green Room connects a desert contemporary to the surrounding landscape with naturalistic plantings and organic hardscape to achieve a meditative rhythm that evokes a sense of calm.

Low water use native ocotillo and mature ironwoods cast shade over the minimalist pool and burbling water feature. The understory of textural rock and specimen agave and yucca with their sculptural quality creates a bold visual statement around entertainment areas.

A gridded delineation of planting areas follows the outline of the home and creates engaging views from inside.

Taken as a whole, the site is a decompression chamber that allows the owner to unwind and escape to nature.
