Respecting the owner’s desire for a limited outdoor space, The Green Room collaborated with the architects to transform a tiered Spanish Colonial Revival into a contemporary work of art that takes advantage of the Salt River Valley views.

Limestone and acid-etched concrete create clean and timeless surfaces and complement interior materials. A curved walkway steps down into an intimate garden dining room.

An existing wall surrounds a tiered citrus grove. A tranquil corridor is densely planted with succulents. Existing retaining walls are softened with sculptural plantings.

An outdoor kitchen leads to a raised deck with a secluded outdoor room nestled into a natural cave formation. The infinity pool mirrors the sky and rock formations creating a harmonious respite.
