The Green Room brought a mid-century modern home back to life with earth tone textures and natural materials. Specimen saguaro welcome guests at the threshold.

Large native plantings provide privacy and restore the site’s ecology. Reclaimed ironwood trees, some hundreds of years old, provide a dense canopy and relief from summer sun and, with large creosote, create micro-climates for landscape understory to thrive.

Desert wildflowers and colorful desert-adapted shrubs attract native birds. Mounding and boulders give a sense of movement and depth.

Barrel cacti groupings become outdoor sculpture. A saguaro forest at the pool’s end draws a line of sight that extends to the views.
