Canyon Drive
A rhythm of vertical forms accentuates native garden vignettes
Landscapes > Canyon Drive
The visitor’s eye is carried from the point of entry through a washway, a living spine with a restrained palette of native cacti. A native barrel cactus grouping’s circular forms juxtapose with linear elements and a spiral arrangement of billowing native groundcover.
Quarried stone outcroppings create strong lines. A forest of cardon cacti act as sentinel.
Placed texture and the density of repeated forms create movement. Wildflowers emerge throughout for seasonal color and delight.
