The Green Room opened up a tight courtyard in this small family home in a Moroccan inspired community in Paradise Valley to create an indoor-outdoor living experience.

Salvaged fruitless olive trees extend the garden outside the property line and provide a continuous arc of shade that produces a microclimate for garden plantings.

Banco seating areas match the historic character of the home and maximize space.

Broken flagstone shards offer a modest border for the children’s sandbox. Edible plants in pots and vines bring the family in constant contact with nature.
